Singapore Math workshops tend to generalize the curriculum. Topics such as mental math and problem solving are often addressed, but individual grade levels are rarely studied. As a result, teachers new to the curriculum often feel unprepared to begin teaching and overwhelmed after they start. This workshop series aims to address this problem.

Each Singapore Math edition – *U.S.*, *Primary*, *Common Core*, and *Math in Focus* - uses a concrete to pictorial to abstract pedagogical approach. Each grade level workshop will focus on the major topics, which are present in each of the editions.

Although these workshops will target teachers who are new (or relatively new) to Singapore Math, it is open to anyone who is interested in deepening their understanding of elementary mathematics..
